Port Police CP, Maikaba, Hosts MARAN Executives, Pledges Support for Responsible Maritime Reporting

The Commission of Police (Ports Authority Police, Western Command), Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, played host to executives of the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN), yesterday, as he pledged his support for responsible Maritime reporting.
Maikaba while commending the efforts of the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) in telling the stories of Nigeria’s maritime industry, hailed the Bivbere-led executives of the Association for extending a hand of fellowship to the Command.
Speaking on the sidelines of the visit, MARAN President, Mr. Godfrey Bivbere, stated that the visit was aimed at building a relationship and showing solidarity with the Commissioner of Police.
While assuring the CP of the Association’s support, Mr. Bivbere pledged that achievements of the Command would be given wide coverage as it plays a pivotal role in securing the nation’s gateway to international trade.
CP Maikaba on his part appreciated the warm hands of fellowship extended to him, and pledged a cordial working relationship with the Association.
