Customs to Boost Personnel Welfare Through Housing Project
In line with the drive of the Nigeria Customs Service to enhance the welfare of officers, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on Thursday, 7, 2024, made a stop-over at the construction site of Customs Cantonment in Mando, Kaduna to ascertain the project’s progress.
Adeniyi, while speaking with journalists shortly after inspecting the construction site in Kaduna, described the project as a means of consolidating the infrastructure of Customs in the country to drive efficiency.
He added that the completion of the project is a priority for the Service noting that the structure will serve as a cornerstone of Customs operations in the region.
“I am here this afternoon to inspect the progress of this project, the construction of the Customs Cantonment in Mando, Kaduna. This initiative underscores our commitment to establish a robust and efficient infrastructure to support the operations of the Nigeria Customs Service.”
The Comptroller General commended the contractors for a job well done stating that realization of their effort “is instrumental in realizing our vision of a modern and efficient Customs Service.”
