AWAEMAP Commits to Supporting Dantosho, Urges Inclusivity, Collaboration with Stakeholders

The Association of West African Exporters and Maritime Professionals (AWAEMAP) has expressed it’s commitment to support Mr. Abubakar Dantsoho while urging him to prioritise inclusivity and collaboration with industry stakeholders as he takes over the helms of affairs at Nigerian Ports Authority.

 

These submissions were conveyed in a statement  by AWAEMAP signed by it’s President, Hon. Olumekun Olubunmi, as it congratulates Dantosho on his appointment as the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority.

 

The Association, while expressing confidence in Dantsoho’s capabilities, noted that the appointment “heralds a promising new era for Nigeria’s maritime sector”.

 

It further averred that prioritising an inclusive environment will allow for uniform development across the entire Maritime industry.

 

Part of the statement read: “AWAEMAP urges Dantosho to foster an inclusive and collaborative approach in engaging stakeholders in the maritime sector as open dialogue and cooperation are vital for overcoming challenges and enhancing operational efficiency.

 

“We believe that by working together, we can streamline export processes, which will facilitate smoother trade operations and contribute to the nation’s economic growth and global trade integration.”

 

“It is crucial that NPA, under Mr. Dantsoho’s leadership, focuses on initiatives that boost Nigeria’s economic development. Improved port operations and services will significantly enhance the nation’s competitive edge in the global market, driving economic prosperity and development.”

 

The group expressed readiness to support him in his endeavors. “AWAEMAP remains committed to collaborating closely to ensure the success of this administration’s initiatives which are essential for the advancement of the maritime industry and the nation’s economy.”
